Unleash Your Fire Performance Project for Women presents…
“Tapping the Velvet” in Melbourne and Sydney!!

A Weekend Intensive Workshop for NEW, EMERGING, and SEASONED Women Artists—In the Genres of Erotic Performance Art, Burlesque, Striptease, Cabaret, Theatre, etc.

…Don’t miss out on this opportunity to work with two of the most brilliant, innovative, provocative, and dynamic erotic performance, striptease and burlesque artists in the business— Vixen Noir & Glitta Supernova!

Tapping the Velvet is a workshop designed to help you tap into your true essence— mind, body, heart, soul— and use it to fuel passion and vitality into your creative process and performances, ultimately strengthening your capacity as a performer and intensifying your impact on audiences! Tapping the Velvet offers the safety of a women-only environment that’s fun, creative, life-affirming and sexy as hell!

With a combination of more than 35 years of experience in the creation and execution of bent, twisted, classic, subversive, dark, comedic, theatrical, multi-genre erotic performances, Vixen and Glitta will share with you some of their trade secrets, devising techniques, constructive feedback/direction and more!!!

Where the ultimate goal is to empower you as a woman and performer from the inside out, Glitta and Vixen will use burlesque, striptease, writing, theatre/improv, trust, dance-movement, storytelling and visualization exercises to help you tap into your erotic power, and facilitate your ability to permeate your performances with this power.

Tapping the Velvet is open to new, emerging and seasoned artists. Please be prepared to present, in full costume and make-up if possible, a new or previously performed 3 – 5 minute show or excerpt of a show to be used as your creative vehicle throughout the workshop.
