VOIX DE LA VILLE “The Prize Vulgarian”

Sadly, we shall not be in Perth for this. Unless we win lotto, in which case, we’ll be here for sure! Stryker is one of the most inspiring performers I know…
The Bakery, 233 James Street
Perth, Australia

People of Perth, exhale! Now, inhale, for the long-awaited return of VOIX DE LA VILLE which is a much needed breath of fresh air. It’s what Perth’s cabaret scene aspires to embody… and it does so effortlessly.Featuring
Strykermeyer (BAFTA award winner, Cannes film festival, Sydney Opera House),
Dosh Luckwell (Cottonmouth, Edinburgh Fringe, Artrage Festivals, Voicebox)
Ash Baroque (Glastonbury, PIAF, Perth Fringe, Madame Devilles).

Alongside Lucy Peach, Punk Rock Chic, Ginger LaMinge,
Scott-Patrick Mitchell, Glamour Puss, Amber Fresh, Val Nourished,
Iskra Valentine, Alethea Leisure, Stee and Kodi Pendant.

Installation by Anne Marie Therese and Giselle.

This is far-out theatrical styling at its most audacious, sure to
titillate and intrigue.

Known to many as the “The Prize Vulgarian” Voix de la Ville was created in 2008 as an alternative performance collective that provides a platform for new, emerging and established artists to showcase their work.

As an ongoing experiment in the outrageous, this incidental but highly anticipated pop-up night explores spoken word, drag, performance art, burlesque, installation, cabaret…and all manner of queer and odd happenings in between.

Early Bird Tickets now on sale.
